The Saskatoon Amigos tied the Cecil Cup Series at 1 game apiece with a 10-4 victory. Saskatoon managed to get six runs on the board before Seattle even had a single base runner. The hitting stars of the game for Saskatoon were RF Santiago Salazar who went 2-3 with a home run, 2 RBI and 3 runs scored and LF Rufus Murray who had four hits in five at bats, including a double with three runs scored and an RBI. Thomas Cohen went the distance for Saskatoon, earning his third victory of the post-season. Seattle starter Ronald Placencia was bombed for six runs in 2.2 innings.

ReplyDeleteHe was automatic in the LCS and it looks like the the Monarchs have woken up the sleeping giant in Saskatoon.
I guess this is the last time Mack brags about his Starting Pitching.
I look forward to the rest of this series as it has been an interesting postseason so far...
Well, at least he'll be well rested for his next start, right?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that my powers to jinx my own team remain intact. I have a long and storied history of that. Hopefully, Placencia will get another start at home against the Amigos in Game Six and make up for this one.
