So this is what it is like to lose in the LCS (there is a first for everything - this brings my record to 7-1 in the LCS). I guess it is better than losing in the Cecil Cup which I have gotten used to in the past few season, but still not cool. I want to go back to the old way where I don't face Mack until the Cecil Cup :)
Seriously, congratulations to Mack and Eric for beating the two 104 win teams in the LCS and set up a great storyline for the Cecil Cup.
Will Saskatoon win their second straight Cecil Cup setting up a new dynasty in the SDMB or will Seattle regain their rightful post on top of the league?????
4-0 in the four games started by Placencia and Hester, with three of those four being excellent pitching performances. Offensive MVP for the Monarchs in the series has to be Armando Cedeno, who hit .320 with four home runs, 7 RBI, and 8 runs scored.
Great seasons for Cleveland and Maui, two historically downtrodden franchises who have really turned around under their current ownership. Nice job, Matt and Jeremy.
Now, on to a rematch of last year's Adams League championship (I always told you guys the Adams league was better!). Hopefully this one goes better for the Monarchs, even if we do have to go with Macaluso to start Game One.

With the next week the answer will be known...
And the storybook season for my young franchise comes to an end. Congratulations, Eric, on an excellent series.
