We'll give Mack another day or so to bask in the glory of the championship and then we'll move on.
I'm tentatively scheduling the next sim for Thursday night. I don't have the game on this machine, so I can't say how long it will cover but it will probably be a week or two (depending on whether or not there are any major events scheduled in that time period).

Thanks for the update, Zev. My suggestion is that you advance the game only as far as the date that the new budgets are announced. I think this typically happens within a few days of the end of the playoffs. I don't know if anyone else cares about this issue as much as I, but I'd like to know what my new budget is before deciding whether to try to resign some of my players to extensions. My fear is that if you go much further than the date the new budgets are announced, the window to resign players otherwise destined for free agency may be too short.
ReplyDeleteI strongly agree with Matt.
ReplyDeleteAlso, when does trading re-open?
That would be cool. I have been on $0 for extensions for ever, I would like to some day see a positive number there so I can start signing my young studs to long term contracts.
ReplyDeleteI object to all of the above. I have not had nearly enough time to bask in the glory of the championship.
ReplyDeleteGive me a month or so and I'll be fine. :)
