Administrative Note -- Expanded Schedule

Tegarding the expanded minor league schedule, it seems taht we have six yes votes if I count right (Mack, Nate, Jeremy, Matt, Frank [his caveat notwithstanding] and Michael). I agree with this too, and so, we'll make it a true majority.

I'll implement this for next year.

  1. While we're at it, let's name some of those sub-leagues. Give 'em a little style.

  2. Also while we are at it, can we create some feeder leagues. I know that you can create High School and College leagues where our draft classes will come out of. Just an idea.

  3. Jeremy,

I was thinking about that one too.

  4. How about going old-school NHL style with the names and naming them after owners? For example: the AAA teams could be the Weintraub and Shultz leagues (count the rings, Nate), then the Wooley and Taylor leagues in AA, and, well, draw names from a hat for A.

  5. Amazing how much soup Michael can make from some really stale, really old potatos.

Enjoy your rightfully earned place in the second division.

  6. A high-school or college feeder league would be 50 different kinds of awesome, and would make the amateur draft more of a culmination of a seasonlong process of evaluation versus a short burst of activity.
