  1. It's cold comfort but a sweep of the major awards at least FEELS nice. And I think that's my fourth or fifth ROY, Villatoro's third Cy Young, and Hukill's second MVP.

  2. And I'm the only one to get shut out of the awards. What a lost year.

  3. Our first Hall of Famer was announced! Outfielder Michael Fay was inducted. Too bad Trevor's not in the league any more, as he would have likely enjoyed the long-time Saskatoon player's recognition.

I'm also sure that Dong Lutz and Scott Boras would like to call attention to the fact that Lutz also won the Gold Glove.

I mean, this is just goofy. He's 27. He won the championship and the MVP and a Gold Glove and nearly a Triple Crown. He was worth 11 wins above replacement last year. It's hard to imagine a more impressive free agent (although Villatoro could certainly give him a run for that honor).

  4. Bite your tongue! Juan will NEVER make it to free agency!
