It's late and I'm exhausted, so this will be brief.
Brooklyn put up quite a few crooked numbers in taking game 2 over Maui 10-4, and leads 2-0 as the league shifts to the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Meanwhile, in Seattle, Hickory defeated the heavily-favorite Monarchs 8-6, to tie their series at 1 win apiece. Games three in Maui and Hickory will be simmed on Saturday night.
Always a fantastic experience when your manager uses your AAA call-up to start Game Two, despite having your rotation set and the AAA guy not being in it or even being listed as a spot starter.

I was wondering what your strategy was. Why didn't you use the 7-day lineup feature?
ReplyDeleteI never use the seven-day lineup in the playoffs because I'm scared of it screwing things up. Hasn't been a problem before. The only time I use it is when I'm resting starters at the end of the regular season or during spring training to make sure guys play the new positions that I'm trying to teach them.
